The journey is thin
Poem
Whoever falls, loses.
First you sway, you open up
as if you were guiding the sun on its way.
Both feet solid and firm,
aimed like an arrow shooting toward the pole.
Tighten all your insides.
Though there’s no need to close your eyes.
The journey is thin
and long like the light.
But you advance step by step,
one foot
behind the other.
Don’t worry about the wind,
it doesn’t exist, even if they tell you it does.
Not even the rain
soaking you exists.
Turn to your sides if you want,
still, there’s nothing there.
You ask me if you can look back?
Of course, but you’ll see the same as what lies ahead.
Look down?
Are you serious?
Don’t bend down!
Remember the only rule of the game.
Despite your stubbornness,
I’ve given you the advice no one knows,
and I won’t follow you into the abyss.

Really love the rhythm and journey of this piece of art. Thank you for sharing.
